This May 8 to 10, Prepare yourself for Taree’s most breathtaking event of the year, the Australian Light Aircraft Championships to be held in Taree Aerodome, Landsowne Road Cundletown.
Australian Light Aircraft Championship is a definite treat not just for aviation and photo enthusiasts but for everyone as well. It’s where everything that flies up in the sky is astounding.
Practice day is scheduled on the 8th, Thursday and the competitions will be held on the 9th and 10th.
Exhibitions during the competition consist of forced landing, spot landing, aerobatics, streamer cutting, and formation flying.
Spectators Welcome is on the evening of Saturday where a presentation dinner at the Taree and Wingham Race Club Bushland Racecourse will be held. Members are encouraged to attend.
